T.I. Removed From Halfway House Over “Transportation Issue”

Only one day after he was released from Forrest City prison, rapper T.I. was dealt another a legal setback. MTV News reports that the Federal Bureau of Prisons officials moved him from the halfway house he’d been brought to following his prison release to another unspecified location on Thursday, apparently because of a “transportation issue” related to T.I.’s use of a luxury tour bus when arriving at the facility. The Associated Press spoke to Steve Sadow, T.I.’s lawyer, who noted that the Federal Bureau of Prisons “has moved T.I. to a different facility” because of the rapper’s 375-mile trip Wednesday from the Arkansas low-security facility to Atlanta in the luxury vehicle. “There appears to be confusion surrounding the method of transportation,” Sadow said.

The trip was documented by VH1, who  will be following T.I.’s journey home from jail for a new 10-episode reality series set to debut on December 5. (He also co-wrote a novel with David Ritz called Power & Beauty, which will be released in October.)

Guess the network is now getting even more drama than it bargained for.
