Following “What The Water Gave Me,” the lead single off Florence And The Machine’s upcoming LP Ceremonials, another track called “Shake It Out” has made its way online. When we talked to Florence Welch a year ago, she described recording “the most epic monstrosity of song, there’s so much bass and loads of drums.” There’s no confirmation on whether “Shake It Out” is that tune, but it does sound pretty epic to us! Hear it below. “I’ve been a fool and I’ve been blind, I can never leave the past behind,” Florence sings as drums kick in following the song’s intro.

The song eventually whips itself into a bombastic anthem once the chorus arrives and the flame-haired songstress declares, “It’s hard to dance with a devil in your bed, so shake it out!”

Last month Ceremonials producer Paul Epworth tweeted, “I love handing something over to hear it come back better. I feel for the a&r dept having to try and whittle these tracks down to 10 or 12 because there really are no weak ones.”

Given that, what do you think of Florence’s latest tease of new album Ceremonials?
