It’s appropriate that Kid Cudi is depicted as his own jigsaw puzzle on the cover of October’s Complex, as the rapper has been trying to put the pieces of his life back together after going drug-free. In the mag, Cudder discusses his newfound sobriety (“I have to learn how to be inspired by other things than my turmoil and pain and stress”), learning guitar (“I was like, ‘Shit, I want to just make jams with this instrument'”), and becoming his own manager (“It’s fun!”).
