Missy Elliot Joins J. Cole On New ‘Cole World’ Track “Nobody’s Perfect”
Okay, so nobody’s perfect — but a few artists come pretty close. And when it comes to guest spots on a hip hop track, who does it better than Missy Elliot? We sure missed her when she was on hiatus battling Graves’ disease, and now that the “Fun” diva is back working with the likes of Katy Perry and Demi Lovato, all in the music world feels right again. Missy’s latest endeavor is an appearance on the Cole World tracklist, where she links up with the “Can’t Get Enough” rapper to deliver the sweet chorus, “Nobody’s perfect, but you’re perfect for me.” What a great way to warm up for the September 27 release of J. Cole’s debut album! Listen below.
The track is a pretty mellow affair, with Missy’s vocals — a bit of a departure from the sassy rhymes we often hear from her — providing a nice hook to the tune.
