‘Glee’ Goes Back To Broadway On Three New Songs
This week they had the beat; next week they’ll have Broadway. The Great White Way isn’t exactly unexplored territory for the New Directions, thus the kids from McKinley are about to go in a very familiar direction indeed in their next Season Three episode, “I Am A Unicorn.” The Sesame Street-spoofed cast better be on its best behavior in case Officer Krupke drops by for a visit, since not one but two West Side Story tracks are on the menu — no, not “America,” unfortunately, but “Somewhere” and “Something’s Coming.” Chris Colfer, meanwhile, will lend his pipes to (what else?) Funny Girl singing, “I’m The Greatest Star.” Listen below.
Will their be plenty of Romeo & Juliet-style angst as Rachel, Finn, and the gang put on West Side Story? Count on it.
