No offense to pistol-packing outlaw Britney Spears, but the femme fatale we’d really be afraid to cross is Nicki Minaj. (What with the angry and very outspoken multiple personalities and all.) That’s why it’s only fitting that the rainbow-bright rapper who wears fried chicken as jewelry is getting a tour to call her very own come 2012. Already at work on her hotly-anticipated sophomore album, now Minaj has spoken to MTV about her future plans to headline and raise the bar for herself, since — let’s face it — the lady is no opening act. Head below to see what she had to say about the forthcoming show.
We’re glad to see Nicki finally branching off on her own, since even at the time she was announced as Britney’s opener, she was practically a big enough star to headline already. Now hopefully she can find some equally buzzy artists to open for her — Neon Hitch, Natalia Kills, Kreayshawn, and Rye Rye are just a few names that come to mind as possibilities.
Will you see Nicki in a concert of her own?
