Katy Perry apparently recorded so much pop magic in the studio during her Teenage Dream sessions, there’s plenty more to go around. The pop star has been hitting the studio with producer Tricky Stewart, “freshening up” tracks that never made it onto her sophomore album in hopes to finally make them public.

“Katy and I went into [the studio] just to address some issues with records that we had done in the past that didn’t end up going on Teenage Dream,” Stewart told MTV News. “So we are in the process of just listening and freshening up things and getting ready for something special she has going on.”

Stewart, who produced three songs that did made the final cut of the album (“Circle The Drain”, “Hummingbird Heartbeat” and “Who Am I Living For?”), even revealed the name of one shelved song they’re polishing for release. “This song is really special. It’s called ‘Dressing Up,’ so it’s going to be a big record, I think… It definitely fits. It’s right there in what her sensibilities are as a musician and a songwriter.”

We’re all for Perry officially releasing an LP of B-sides – it would keep her name and her music in the news while she takes some time to craft another album’s worth of tunes. And if her previously unreleased material sounds anything like her Dr. Luke collab “Part Of Me” which surfaced last December, we won’t have to worry about Perry giving us a whole album of filler.
