MOBO Awards 2011: Jessie J Wins Big, Amy Winehouse Tributed By Goddaughter

For you non-Brits who aren’t aware of the MOBOs, they celebrate Music Of Black Origin, and last night’s ceremony was hosted by Jason Derulo. Rihanna was named Best International Act and Adele was named Best R&B/Soul Act (wait, Adele is considered R&B now?), but it was Jessie J who was the big winner last night, picking up four out of the five awards for which she was nominated. The full list of winners below.

Amy Winehouse’s goddaughter Dionne Bromfield earned a standing ovation after performing the late singer’s “Love Is A Losing Game” while a giant photo of Amy was displayed behind her. “I knew they were going to use that picture and it was difficult to keep singing, but I did it for Amy,” she said.
