November 15 is shaping up to be a big day for Drake. Not only will the recent birthday boy have the release of his Take Care album to celebrate, but it also marks when his cover of The Source magazine will hit newsstands. The SNL performer poses for the mag’s 14th annual Power 30 issue with gold chains in his mouth. (We guess it’s the look Drizzy was going for). Jump below for a closer look at the 25-year-old rapper’s cover and hear what he had to say about Kanye West.

In Drake’s eight-page spread, the Canadian Walk Of Fame inductee revealed:

“When I was a kid trying to figure out what I liked, it was [Kanye] who I related to the most. He was an artist, in every sense, from his cover art to his music. Now, I would say he was a really great competitor…”

We’re sure nothing makes Yeezy feel old like having a fellow rapper mention his name following the phrase, “When I was a kid”. That said, do you think the Watch The Throne artist sees Drizzy as a competitor as well? Tell us your thoughts below.
