Darren Criss Covers Katy Perry Again: Watch Him Perform “Last Friday Night”
Our least favorite Glee performances are the seemingly impromptu ones that take place in New Directions’ rehearsal room, as there’s only so many interesting ways to film a bunch of kids running amok in a drab area with limited space. But it’s hard to not be charmed by this preview clip of Darren Criss leading the show choir pack with his cover of Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night (TGIF)”. His enthusiasm is infectious — though Santana somehow remains a sourpuss the whole way through. Watch Blaine bust out his moves below.
Too bad he didn’t get a chance to dance like that in the single’s video!
If you’re as obsessed with Darren Criss as we are, why not dress up as a Dalton Academy Warbler for Halloween? (Okay, Blaine is technically now attending McKinley High, but we’re sure he’s got an extra red-trimmed blazer hanging up in his closet.)
