Rising Singer/rapper/producer Sammy Adams already proved he can be the life of the party with his Party Records mixtape, and before that, an indie release (Boston’s Boy) that topped iTunes’ hip-hop digital albums chart. Now the 23-year-old Massachusetts native, who has scorched stages from Lollapalooza to New York’s Terminal 5 to an Idolator-presented House Of Blues show in Hollywood, is primed to explode with new song “Blow Up”, off his upcoming major-label debut.

Ever a fan of off-beat samples, Adams constructs “Blow Up” with a bit of The Pixies’ 1988 single “Where Is My Mind?”, and we’ve got the exclusive premiere below.

“Waking up late’s become a trend / I roll over in the morning, random girl up in my bed,” sings Adams on his mellow, head-nodding jam. Hey, these are the consequences of partying too hardy when you’re an ambitious young star.
