Drake & Rihanna “Take Care”: Listen
A full year after Rihanna and Drake began burning up the airwaves with their 2010 chart-topping hit “What’s My Name”, their latest pair-up, the title track from Drake’s sophomore LP Take Care (out November 15), has found its way online — along with the rest of the album! The entire track is built around a sample of Jamie xx’s remix of Gil Scott Heron’s “I’ll Take Care Of U’, off Heron’s remix album We’re New Here. Hear it below! We’re loving Rihanna’s subtle and understated lower register on “Take Care”. And Drake opts to sing-rap, rather than just straightforward spit out his lines like usual, which totally works for this introspective jam.
There’s no way this one will miss getting an official single release. Hopefully, if all involved are on their game, a video is already in the works.
