Police may have ejected protesters from Zuccotti Park this week, but the NYC Occupy Wall Street movement is still alive and well in Penguin Prison’s “Don’t F*** With My Money” video. The synthy New Yorker (real name: Chris Glover) has remixed such tracks as Goldfrapp’s “Rocket”, Darren Hayes’ “Talk Talk Talk” and Ellie Goulding’s “Starry Eyed”, and now he seems to have captured lightning in a bottle thanks to his own timely single. Join the revolution below. “I wrote and recorded “Don’t F*** With My Money” some time before the Occupy Wall Street protest began but I felt that some of the lyrics reflected the sentiments that a lot of people have right now, ” Glover says. “Inspired by OWS and by the other protests that have sprung up all over the world, I decided to film a video for ‘Don’t F*** With My Money’ at the Occupy Wall Street March that went from Zuccotti Park to Times Square.”
