Lady Gaga is ringing in the holidays all week long — the pop star helped launch her Gaga’s Workshop at Barney’s this morning, and will be entertaining you and your extended family with her Thanksgiving special, A Very Gaga Thanksgiving, this Thursday evening. In the 90-minute special, Mother Monster appears to keep the crazy to a minimum, and ups up the timeless class by putting her spin on holiday classic “White Christmas” and Nat King Cole’s jazzy “Orange Colored Sky”. Gaga doesn’t forget about her own tunes, and delivers powerful stripped down versions of Born This Way tracks “You & I” and “The Edge Of Glory”. Hear all four songs below.

The singer appeared on Good Morning America to promote Gaga’s Workshop and discuss all sorts of things, including her Thanksgiving special, her personal family traditions during the holidays and that her little monsters call her parents’ home all the time asking to speak to her (and when she’s there, she happily gets on the phone).

A Very Gaga Thanksgiving, which was directed by Gaga herself, airs this Thursday on ABC. Four songs from the special will be released on an EP, A Very Gaga Holiday, which is now on US iTunes, and will drop Saturday November 26 everywhere else. Go ahead and gobble ’em up, little monsters!

“It’s the second Thanksgiving I’m spending without my grandpa, and I wrote this song about him, so here it is,” says Gaga before launching into this beautiful rendition of “The Edge Of Glory”. She adds, “So Grandma, if you’re watching at home, this one’s for you.” You’re gonna make us cry, Gaga!
