Whoever slated the gloomy Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 single “It Will Rain” for a fall release is kind of a genius. Bruno Mars’ puddle-inducing ballad is the perfect song to listen to on a drizzly autumn day (or when your vampire lover has impregnated you with a demon child — but that’s another story). The American Music Awards’ pick for Pop/Rock Male Artist dropped by the domestic version of The X Factor (after a recent appearance on its UK cousin) to belt against a backdrop of a giant broken heart.
