Amy Winehouse’s posthumous LP Lioness: Hidden Treasures is living up to its name by sharing a number of tunes the dearly departed diva recorded before her tragic passing. Produced by Winehouse’s close friend Salaam Remi and recorded in 2002, “Halftime” is one of several previously unreleased tracks we’ll get from Amy on the new disc (dropping December 5), along with a number of covers. See how it compares to previously heard Lioness tracks “Our Day Will Come” and “Like Smoke” below.

Amy Winehouse — “Halftime”

While maybe not as essential as some of the late vocalist’s major hits, “Halftime” is a breezy but charming track that easily could have found a home on an Amy Winehouse album.
