Jennifer Lopez Greatest Hits Album Being Prepped For 2012

Since 1999, Jennifer Lopez has topped the charts with singles like “If You Had My Love”, “Ain’t It Funny” and “I’m Real”, and racked up other hits like “Waiting For Tonight”, “Jenny From The Block” and “On The Floor”. So what better time than now, while the singer/actress/talent show judge is currently burning up the small screen on American Idol, to serve up J.Lo’s greatest hits? There’s no official tracklist for the 2012 release yet, but MTV News recently interviewed vocal producer Kuk Harrell, who said the following:

“I just got the call a week ago that the greatest-hits album for Jennifer Lopez is coming up. Now I’m just waiting for them to put on the schedule [and] let me know what songs we’re actually cutting and stuff like that.”

Harrell also revealed who he’d likely be going into the studio with to work on a few songs for the hits package: “I think [when] I find out what the direction is, I will definitely go in the lab. I will get in the lab with Tricky Stewart and The-Dream and see what we can come up with for it.”

Interesting choices, as Tricky and The-Dream were the producers behind Lopez’s 2009 single “Louboutins”, which failed to dent the charts and pretty much signaled the end of the diva’s tenure at Sony.

But enough about the flops! Below we’ve listed several of Jenny’s big hits. Vote for the one you think most deserves to be included on her upcoming hits collection.
