Fergie’s “Fergalicious”: At Your Request

Dec 1st, 2011 // 1 Comment

Ready to dive into another episode of At Your Request? We thought so. Today’s helping of delicious music factoids comes with a side of black eyed peas — well, one special Pea to be exact. Below watch as we breakdown one of Fergie’s Top 10 hits from back in 2006.

We have @CathalBrennan to thank for requesting the pop star’s “Fergalicious”. While the song rose to #1 on Billboard Pop Songs chart, it only managed to hit #2 on the Hot 100. Thus keeping Fergie Ferg from having four consecutive number one hits from her debut solo album The Dutchess. But as we know big girls don’t cry, so we’re sure the Cosmo UK cover girl took it in stride.

I miss solo Fergie! She had a string of major hits off this album and when it comes to pop culture, she was it in 2006. My only wish next year is that she records another solo project. “Big Boys are crying for here return”
