Triple-threat Lady Gaga debuted her “Marry The Night” video late Thursday night, giving Little Monsters 14 theatrical minutes of (mostly) nude self-exposition to dissect and discuss. Awards season is full swing now that the 2012 Grammy Nominations have been announced, and new music from Adam Lambert and Nicki Minaj has fans looking forward to next year. See what they had to say after the jump.

Rayvone Laßrew helpfully interpreted Lady Gaga’s “Marry The Night” Video: Pop Star, Interrupted, which, admittedly, had us scratching our heads: “i like how this time she made a video that makes sense. i can watch it and tell what happened. She tried to kill herself after being dropped by Def Jam. and tried everything all over again even harder than before only. then at the end of the video was her leaving to catch a plane to Los Angelas for a meeting with Interscope records. i like this video.”

:: glenn, on the other hand, felt the story was a little too similar to another iconic pop diva: “Love the video….BUT!!!!! Aside from the selfdestructive tendencies….this is actually more madonna’s story…..SHE started as a dancer…..went to live in paris….then started over completely as a singer in new york!”

:: Jason thinks Mother Monster put her best foot forward: “I must say the video is shot beautifully, probably the best cinematography she has done to date. I credit Darius for that one. The acting was subpar but she is not an actress so it’s forgivable. The choreography is good and the outfits were amazing. The length was a little long but the story and the imagry kept me interested so it’s fine. Overall, I think it’s her second best video to date but once agai not as strong as bad romance.”

:: RYK101 was none too pleased that Rihanna’s Talk That Talk didn’t make 2011’s Best Albums: Idolator’s Favorite 10 Out Of ’11: “i know we are all entitled to our opinions but TTT was critically more acclaimed than some of these albums, hence it was the pop album of the year anyway not like this list the only albums i heard entirely were 21 and Femme Fatale and only 21 survived in my ipod.”

:: Speaking of Rihanna, COMMANDEROFTHEDANCEFLOOR was stoked the singer scored a nod for Best Pop Vocal Album in the 2012 Grammy Nominations: “for those who don’t think that rihanna’s loud should be nominated you should know that out of all the albums released last year rihanna’s has so far sold the most with over 6 million sold and still selling! i think adele will take home album of the year though, but i think rihanna has the best rap/sung collaboration in the bag with whats my name.”

:: Cody felt it was only a matter of time until Britney Spears — one of 8 Grammy Nomination Snubs — gets her Grammy due: “Britney isn’t going to get nominated at the Grammys until she’s in her 60’s or so. That’s when her true fans will be running the Grammys. I grew up with Britney, and I can say that she’s the most influential artist in my generation. For God’s sake, even People Magazine is doing a tribute to her just for turning 30! Kudos to Britney for not really caring about the show anyway. It’s starting to get really uninteresting and irrelevant. They seem to nominate albums now based on popularity and hits. Gavin DeGraw, one of the better artists of our generation, hasn’t gotten 1 nomination. Not surprise there. Well, I’m sure Britney will be more visible once her next album comes out.

:: Jenn wonders if an endorsement deal was also in the box when Justin Bieber Unwraps His “All I Want For Christmas Is You” Video With Mariah Carey: “I loooooove this song, Mariah, and the Biebs…but it seemed more like a 3 minute commercial for Macy’s with all the product placement.”

:: Melissa Pauls was totally on board when Adam Lambert Promises “Party Music” And “Sex Music” On New Album, but took issue with our art direction: “So excited for the new album! Aw I wish you wouldn’t use that pic tho Idolator, that’s one of the least flattering ones Adam has taken in a while.” (We think he looks hot, though!)

This album will surely make an impression on a lot people! And it will certainly make an impression, and turn a lot of heads! CANT WAIT!”
