UK duo Goldfrapp are following up their Grammy-nominated 2010 album Head First with the aptly-titled best-of collection The Singles (due out February 6 —  in the UK at least). “Yellow Halo” is one of two new songs that will appear on the album (the other is “Melancholy Sky”), and the video for the track — which finds the duo returning to more of the sound heard on 2008’s Seventh Tree — is compiled of iPhone footage shot in South America. “Lisa Gunning made the little film to ‘Yellow Halo’,” Goldfrapp tweeted today. Watch as Alison Goldfrapp takes in the sights, walks through the jungle and attends sound checks across the continent to the sporadic beat of the synthy, ethereal song.
