Pharrell To Be Music Consultant For The Oscars
The 84th Annual Academy Awards have been making headlines even before the nominees have been announced, with Eddie Murphy and Brett Ratner were replaced by some fairly safe choices for host and producer, respectively. But don’t think the February 26 telecast won’t be somewhat hip, as Pharrell has been added as a music consultant. The musician/producer will be joined by composer Hans Zimmer, who previously worked with Pharrell on the Despicable Me soundtrack. [Via THR]
