Though Beyonce may or may not be currently holed up in a New York hospital awaiting the arrival of Boof Boof Knowles-Carter (or whatever she actually decides to name her baby), the singer is tiding us over by revealing her Top 10 favorite songs of 2011 on her website. Bey’s tastes lean towards hip-hop on this list, but even she can’t deny the emotional powerhouse that is Adele’s “Someone Like You”. Hop below to see what made Beyonce groove this past year, and maybe Jay-Z is playing some of these tunes in the delivery room right now?

BEYONCE’S TOP 10 SONGS OF 2011

Big Sean feat. Nicki Minaj – “Dance (A$$)” Future – “Tony Montana” Jay-Z & Kanye West – “Ni**as in Paris” Kelly Rowland feat. Lil Wayne – “Motivation” Adele – “Someone Like You” Drake feat. Lil Wayne – “The Motto” Rihanna – “Man Down” Chris Brown feat. Busta Rhymes & Lil Wayne – “Look at Me Now” James Blake – “The Wilhelm Scream” Frank Ocean – “Novacane”

Nice to see Bey throwing another nod to her Destiny’s Child sister Kelly Rowland with “Motivation”. (Including a Jay and Yeezy song was a bit of a given, though we have no doubt she doesn’t love hearing “Ni**as In Paris” no matter how many times its played in one sitting.) And does Beyonce really, really like Lil Wayne to include him three times on one list, or is it more that Weezy appeared on practically every single released the last 12 months?

Beyonce’s 4 is out now on Parkwood/Columbia. Purchase it at eMusic.
