Before Russell Brand filed a petition to divorce Katy Perry, the couple appeared to enjoy a true romance. The quick-witted British comedian and the flirty American pop megastar first met at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, where they filmed a kiss for Brand’s film Get Him To The Greek. They quickly became a couple, and wed in an elaborate ceremony in India in October 2010 (they surely would have made our list of pop music’s best weddings if only someone had snapped a shot).
