Celebrities Welcome Beyonce & Jay-Z’s Baby Blue Ivy Carter To The World

Blue Ivy Carter is here! (Nope, it’s not Ivy Blue.) Now it’s only a matter of time before she gets into the studio with Dr. Luke, cranks out an album, and wins herself a slew of Grammys. (Come on, you know it’ll happen!) But since we’ll have to wait at least a couple weeks for anything like that to happen, for now we’ll have to content ourselves to learn how Beyonce and Jay-Z’s friends and peers welcomed the little bundle of joy. We already shared how Rihanna reacted to the news — with the tweet: “Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.” Now find out what the rest of the world had to say about the arrival of “Princess Carter” below.

Solange Knowles: “The most beautiful girl in the world.”

Nick Cannon: “Congratulations To Jay-Z And Beyonce On Their Baby Girl!”

Diddy: “Congrats to jay and B! God Bless :) ! And many more!”

Wynter Gordon: “more important than anything tho is Beyonce giving birth to the golden child.”

Kat De Luna: “Congratz to Beyonce and Jay Z! Welcome to the World little Princesa Blue Ivy Carter!”

Ryan Seacrest: “Congrats beyonce and jay-z on their little child of destiny, Blue Ivy! #watchthecrib”

Gwyneth Paltrow: “Welcome to the world Blue! We love you already.”

OneRepublic: “Congrats Beyonce & Sean- it would seem musical royalty has just been born.”

Sky Ferreira: “We’re all really jealous of that baby.”

No word on Twitter from Kanye West or Kelly Rowland yet, two celebrities we’d love to get reactions from. What do you think of the name Blue Ivy, celebrating her parents’ musical success (Blue = The Bueprint, Ivy = IV = 4)?

Beyonce and JayZ should be ashamed of themselves for booking the entire floor of the hospital. There was a high-risk premature delivery taking place at the same time that Beyonce and Jay-Z were at the hospital and their selfishness caused the separation of this family. The father/husband was unable to be with his newly delivered twins and wife during a time that he was most needed.
Beyonce and Jay-Z have successfully solidified my belief that famous people are unable to think of anyone other than themselves. They should be ashamed of themselves and what they’ve become. I really thought they were more down to earth than that.

Well you gotta think about it. Jay-Z and Beyoncé are some of the greatest stars in the world – world-renowned, incredibly respected, recognized pretty much anywhere. Paparazzi would go nuts to get anything over them, and especially a birth since it’s ever so rare. If they didn’t book out the entire floor it’d be massive chaos – people would know that it’s Beyoncé giving birth right then and there and they would come storming in just trying to see her. How easy is it to get from room to room in a hospital? If there were security guards things would get incredibly suspicious – easy prey for the press and for obsessed fans alike. Basically you’re saying that it would’ve been sufficient if they booked out just the room, but you’re also saying that it’s valid for crowds up to 100 to storm into the hospital just to try and get a photo of Beyoncé in a hospital bed and giving birth. What would happen then? It’d disrupt all hospital activities and get more people in danger. Thinking like that is very narrow-minded, I hope you understand that what they were doing was not selfish as you suggested, but it was for the best for the majority of the people in the hospital.
