If Adele’s voice hasn’t healed enough by the time The Grammys air on February 12, we at least know we won’t hit March without hearing the singer’s incredible vocals again. The 21 songstress, who leads with three nominations, has been confirmed as one of the performers for the 2012 BRIT Awards, which will be held on February 21 at London’s O2 arena. Other performers for the include other BRIT nominees Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and Florence + The Machine.
Adele, who underwent throat surgery in November, has been asked to perform at the Grammy ceremony on February 12, but won’t be able to confirm until the beginning of that month. Not that we don’t love staring at her gorgeous face, but what we really want is to hear her belt out “Set Fire To The Rain”, so we hope she is able to play both awards shows.
21 is out now on XL/Columbia. If you haven’t bought it already (what’s wrong with you?!), purchase it on eMusic.
