Kid Cudi Performs WZRD Jams “Brake” and “Teleport 2 Me” Live In Australia
It’s been a minute since we’ve heard news of Kid Cudi’s upcoming WZRD tunes. But given that his album with Dot Da Genius is due out January 30 — i.e. in two weeks — we knew it wouldn’t be long. WZRD did indeed conjure up some new music on the stage at the Heatwave Festival in Middleton, Australia. In late November, Cudi described “Teleport 2 Me” as “a booty-shaker”. And if you’re thinking it sounds a bit familiar, that’s because it samples Desire’s electro track “Under Your Spell”, which was prominently featured in last fall’s Ryan Gosling flick Drive.
