Chris Brown To Perform At The Grammys

Just as speculation on who will win at this Sunday’s Grammy Awards is heating up, the lineup of performers for the event keeps expanding. One artist on the roster who apparently won’t be officially announced, according to MTV News, is Chris Brown. This will mark the first time the “Turn Up The Music” crooner has attended the Grammys since he and Rihanna’s infamous physical fight in 2009 just before that year’s ceremony. One could argue that Brown finally achieved a comeback last year after the Rihanna incident. His singles “Look At Me Now” and “Yeah 3X” were bona fide hits, his album F.A.M.E. topped the chart and he snagged five BET Awards and three BET Hip Hop Awards in 2011.

At this year’s Grammys, he’s up for three awards: Best R&B Album (F.A.M.E.), Best Rap Performance (“Look At Me Now”) and Best Rap Song (“Look At Me Now”).

Rihanna is also nominated for several Grammys, including Album Of The Year (Loud), Best Pop Vocal Album (Loud), Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (for both “What’s My Name” with Drake and “All Of The Lights” with Kanye West). She’ll reportedly be taking the stage at the ceremony with Coldplay.

Over the weekend, Breezy and RiRi were spotted at the same Super Bowl party in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles.
