The Constellations & Cee Lo Green’s “Love Is A Murder” Video: Idolator Premiere

In one of the quirkiest pair-ups since fun. and Janelle Monae’s “We Are Young”, Cee Lo Green has lent vocals to “Love Is A Murder”, a tune from fellow ATL act The Constellations. The darkly comical video for the song also boasts an additional guest appearance, from actress Kate Micucci. Head below to take in the creepy mayhem!

“Cee Lo is old friend of ours from Atlanta,” says Constellations bass player Wes Hoffman. “We asked him to be on our record and he laid it down one afternoon, spur of the moment. When it came time for the video, he showed up in a white wife-beater and a pair of dark shades and said, ‘Where do I stand?'”

As for the clip, Kate goes about knocking out each member of the six-piece Atlanta band and kidnapping them. This is when we see a hallucination of a headless Cee Lo, who croons, “But even in death I can’t forget you, even in death I’m glad I met you.”

When the band members wake up, they soon realize that Kate is just a tad off her rocker — and that their fates are sealed.
