John Mayer spent much of 2011 suffering and recovering from a vocal cord inflammation, so hopefully the majority of his 2012 can be spent rocking out. The singer-songwriter has announced that he will release his long-delayed album Born And Raised on May 22, with a track listing that includes the lead single “Shadow Days” along with 11 other tunes. (Think he turned the tables and penned a song about Taylor Swift? We know that he’s had no problem in the past discussing his former romances.) Track list below.

Before his new album drops in stores, Mayer will be heading down to New Orleans for 2012’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
