Haley Reinhart To Perform New Single “Free” On ’90210′

American Idol‘s jazzy songbird from Season 10, Haley Reinhart, is finally ready to debut original music since she departed the show last May, and she’s getting a strong push from the folks in Beverly Hills. Haley will perform her new single “Free” on the March 28 episode of 90210 (yes, that show is still on the air), with the single scheduled to drop on iTunes March 20. Head below to watch Haley perform her song live at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood.

Haley Reinhart — “Free” (Live)

Top 9 finisher Pia Toscano (and Haley’s labelmate at Interscope) initially seemed like the best best for Idol‘s Season 10 to boast a serious pop star — but despite the major buzz she gained after being shockingly voted off the show in the early final rounds, she failed to break with her unmemorable single “This Time”. Will Haley, who came in third behind country dolls Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina, have more staying power? Possibly — it’s too soon to tell, but we hope that gorgeous face and unique voice will be paired with some killer singer-songwriter material on her debut album.

Lool you must not be a music man if you believe that.

Pia doesn’t have staying power? Aren’t you being a bit premature with that? Her album is going to be released this summer. She has been working with some of the biggest producers in the business.

Oh, and that “unmemorable single” was never given a radio adds date, which is why it “failed to break” as you put it. However, the music video received over 6.5 million views on YouTube.
