Brandy & Monica’s “It All Belongs To Me” Video: Watch

Brandy and Monica’s video for “It All Belongs To Me”, their first pair-up since their top-selling 1998 smash “The Boy Is Mine”, is pretty much a straight forward visual that plays on the ladies’ man-sassin’ lyrics. In one tongue-in-cheek scene, Brandy dumps her man, instructs her ex to log off his Facebook, then changes the status on her own account to single. Use your MacBook (which Brandy and Monica will likely say belongs to them) to watch the vid. Chris Robinson, who recently lensed K’naan and Nelly Furtado’s “Is Anybody Out There”, directed the Thelma & Louise-esque clip for “It All Belongs To Me”.

We’ll definitely give Brandy and Monica props for looking stunning in the array of dresses they rock in the video. But overall, you can’t help thinking this whole shebang could have been a bit more imaginative and playful. (Brandy and Monica as bank robbers singing “it all belongs to me”? Repo women? IRS agents?)

The song will appear on both singers’ upcoming albums. Monica’s New Life is due out April 10, while Brandy’s Two Eleven will be released later in the year.

What do you think of their “It All Belongs To Me” video?
