Now that Justin Bieber is an adult, Pattie Mallette is no longer legally responsible for him and can rest on her laurels, having raised a teenage superstar who managed to avoid all the pitfalls and meltdowns that seem to befall so many juveniles who rise to fame early (such as fathering an illegitimate child). But Mama Biebs isn’t resting too easy — she’s just inked a deal with Revell Books to pen a memoir that details her own, much more troubled youth, which led to her giving birth to the little villain at age 18.
