We’ve got quite a treat for Wynter Gordon fans today. Ahead of the “Dirty Talk” singer’s upcoming spring tour with fellow dance-pop chanteuse Dev, which kicks off on March 28 at New York City’s Gramercy Theatre, Wynter shot a special mini-documentary for her fans that details the singer’s life and career so far. “People think you get signed and right away, stardom,” she says in the clip with a smile. “You kind of have to become yourself completely. You have to know your vision. I don’t think, when I got signed, I knew who I was.” Last year we singled Wynter out as one of the Top 11 Women About To Pop. Now watch her talk about her experiences in the music business below.

Gordon, whose club hits include the sassy retro jam “Buy My Love”, released her With The Music I Die EP last summer. “This whole time it’s been finding myself, building my story, working with other people, figuring out life and growing up,” Wynter says.

Along the way, some of those other people she’s written for and recorded with are Mary J. Blige, Flo Rida, Danity Kane, David Guetta and Steve Aoki, who she paired up with for “Ladi Dadi”.

Below are the dates when you can show Wynter some love by catching her on the road this spring with Dev.
