If you thought fainting and kidney stones was enough drama for American Idol this season, get ready for this: Jermaine Jones, one of the Top 12 contestants has been kicked off the show for concealing multiple crimes from the producers, according to TMZ. The the 23-year-old hopeful confirmed this by sending out a tweet (which has since been deleted), “Awww I will no longer b on the show.”

The contestant was charged with two crimes in 2011, one of them involving violence. He reportedly gave a fake name to the police for both crimes. He also has several outstanding warrants, and gave none of this information to the producers.

Jones was informed that he was kicked off the show while being filmed on camera, and the footage will be broadcast on Wednesday’s show. (Now that’s some reality TV.)

Jermaine may not have lasted very long on the show anyway, as he was in the Bottom 3 last week after performing Stevie Wonder’s “Knocks Me Off My Feet”.
