In Miike Snow’s “The Wave” Video, The Apocalypse Wears Black Vinyl Pants

Sober up your Thursday with Miike Snow’s “The Wave” video, which is equal parts kooky and disturbing. Picking up at the end of “Paddling Out,” which depicted a human man surgically altered by aliens and transformed into a giant-nosed, black-vinyl-pants-wearing curiosity, this Andreas Nilsson-directed clip begins with an object falling from space and killing a lot of people, then spends a lengthy amount of time with the police as they deal with the bodies. Fun, right? Luckily, things take a turn for the bizarre toward the end and lighten up (kind of).
