Iggy Azalea’s official debut single for Interscope, “Murda Bizness”, features guest rapper T.I., some pretty tough-talk rhymes and the echoing “hey-hey-hey-hey-hey” sample yanked from Ini Kamoze’s 1994 chart-topper “Here Comes The Hotstepper”. The naughty-mouthed Aussie
hits the club with her “bad bitches” and a stack of hundreds, and proceeds to kill all pride and hurt the feelings of all the other ladies in her sight. “If you was on fire, I wouldn’t piss on y’all hoes,” Azalea declares. Well
, then. Hear “Murda Bizness” below.
Iggy Azalea — “Murda Bizness”
We’re absolutely digging the heavy base on the song, and Iggy’s hard-as-nails lyrical delivery on “Murda Bizness” keeps what would otherwise come off as trite bragging from sounding tired.
There’s no doubt that T.I. will get some extra ears to tune in to this cut, but, really, he probably wasn’t necessary. Iggy’s got enough charisma on her own.
“Murda Bizness” marks Azalea’s lead single from upcoming debut LP The New Classic.
