Adam Levine To Guest Star On ‘American Horror Story’

Adam Levine will rise from his swiveling chair on The Voice to guest star on a Ryan Murphy TV show – and believe it or not, it’s not Glee. The Maroon 5 frontman will guest star on an upcoming episode of American Horror Story, playing one half of a couple called “The Lovers”. (Interesting timing to land such a role, since Levine just split with his longtime girlfriend Anna V.)

“It is the truth,” Levine told Ryan Seacrest and E! News about rumors he would appear on the FX series. “I mean, it’s pretty much happening. I think it’s happening. I don’t know how much I can divulge, because [series co-creator] Ryan [Murphy] is very under wraps.”

Levine has never acted before (at least not according to his Imdb.com profile – maybe he was a tree in an elementary school play?), so this experience should be interesting for both Adam and his fans.

“It’s going to be fun. And I told [Ryan] I really didn’t know what I was doing, but he didn’t seem to really care,” said the oft-shirtless singer. “So I’m just going to go and try to [do] acting. I think I’m going to be kind of playing myself, so hopefully it will be easy.”
