Carly Rae Jepsen made a colorful appearance on Good Morning America earlier today (April 9). The “Call Me Maybe” songstress sported fluorescent blue pants, a neon green top and a beige cardigan (complete with a Minnie Mouse pin) for her interview on the news show. The Canadian Idol alum was asked about her sudden notoriety, thanks in large part to a now viral lip dub made by Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and friends. How did she react when fame came knocking?

“I wouldn’t even talk about [signing with Scooter Braun’s SchoolBoy Records] with friends and family,” she said. “I was scared to believe it was real. And the moment I saw that video online… I was like, ‘That boy looks a lot like Justin Bieber.’ At the end [of the video] I was like, ‘I think they mean it and I think this is really going to help’.” When asked if her infectiously catchy tune was based on her own life, the upcoming Wango Tango performer answered, “Has I ever asked a guy for his number? No.” What do you think of Carly’s eye-popping ensemble?
