Produced by Give Back Brands LLC, the same company that launched Justin Bieber‘s wildly successful Someday perfume, Nicki’s signature scent is due out in department stores this autumn.
The Roman Reloaded singer’s latest “extension of [her] creative expression” should come as a surprise to no one. Not only is she the latest pop star to go down the perfume path blazed by Madonna, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez before her, last year, Nicki launched a line of nail polishes with OPI and is currently the face of MAC Cosmetics’s Viva Glam campaign.
The Adidas spokeswoman alluded to these and other future entrepreneurial endeavors last October in her guest verse on Drake‘s “Make Me Proud.” She rapped: “It’s Mac, OPI and a fragrance too / Apparel, I’m dominating every avenue.”
Our best guest for what Nicki Minaj’s perfume bottle will look like? Pink. Lots of pink.
