LP Covers Beyonce’s “Halo”: Watch The Performance
LP (real name: Laura Pergolizzi) is known for penning such tunes as Rihanna‘s 2011 hit “Cheers (Drink To That)” and Christina Aguilera‘s Burlesque soundtrack jam “Beautiful People”, but the singer-songwriter is venturing out as an artist on her own with next week’s release of the EP Into The Wild: Live At EastWest Studios. During her set at the Hollywood recording studio, LP belted out a stirring rendition of Beyonce‘s “Halo”. We think she managed to capture the raw emotion of Bey’s song while weaving her own unique voice around the heartfelt lyrics and making it her own. Give it a watch and let us know if you agree.
