The promotional push behind Maroon 5 and Wiz Khalifa‘s new single “Payphone” has been full steam ahead since the song premiered Monday (Apr. 16). After the uptempo breakup anthem made it’s world debut live on The Voice last night, “Payphone” got its very own official lyric video complete with anime-style graphics. Drawn in panels to look like a comic book, the video features a spiky haired and extra jacked hero — presumably a not-too-far-off version of M5 frontman Adam Levine — who switches between reminiscing about his ex-girlfriend and harnessing his chi to beat up zombies and arch villains. Keep an eye out for the mini cartoon Wiz around the 2:40 mark and then tell us below or on Twitter and Facebook what you thought of clip. (We think it’s cute.)
