MTV is whetting fans of The Wanted‘s appetites by teasing the band’s “Chasing The Sun” video several hours ahead of its premiere. In the short clip, the sun in question is nowhere to be found at first as the UK fivesome dance atop a rooftop at night in Los Angeles. They’re also shown entering a fenced-off building with a crew of females, and then the sun begins to rise as the quintet stares off into the distance.

Wanted member Jay McGuinness previously said the following of “Chasing The Sun”: “You always want to do better than your last song, and we’ve always set a really high standard with ‘Glad You Came’ already. But I think we know now from the singles we’ve got in our pocket, there’s no way we’re going anywhere. We’re here to stay, and our songs are going to get better and better.”

Yesterday it was announced that the “Chasing The Sun” clip is set to premiere at 7:53 p.m. EST on MTV. To tie in with the unveiling of the video and the release of the EP, the quintet will sit down with MTV News‘ Sway Calloway during MTV First: The Wanted for an additional 30-minute live Q&A session.

Do you think “Chasing The Sun” is catch enough to reach the heights of “Glad You Came”?
