Joe Jonas, The Roots And Queen Latifah Set For Philly Fourth Of July Jam

The City Of Brotherly Love is going to have some added fireworks on July 4, as the lineup for the 20th annual Philly Fourth Of July Jam has been announced. Jimmy Fallon‘s Late Night house band The Roots are set to headline the event, which drew a crowd of 500,000 concert-goers last year, and they’re also scheduled to play sets with the likes of Joe Jonas, Queen Latifah, Common and Philadelphia native Daryl Hall. “We are very excited to be back again as the headlining band for the Philly Fourth of July Jam,” Roots musical director ?uestlove said in a press release. “It is an amazing event and we are proud to be an integral part of the show. You can expect an Independence Day celebration full of music right on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway — Philly is the place to be for the 4th of July.” President Barack Obama‘s news slow-jamming session has yet to be announced.
