The Wanted Slam Christina Aguilera All Over Again

Looks like The Wanted‘s dissing of Christina Aguilera is far from over. Following boy band member Tom Parker branding The Voice coach “a total bitch” — and then apologizing (sort of) — the lads had a chat with UK paper Metro, and fired up the verbal assault on the “Beautiful” songstress once again. Catch the latest zingers from their tirade below.

This time it was mop-topped Wanted member Jay McGuiness who led the Aguilera-ranting. “We unanimously think that Christina lacks any kind of courtesy or manners or respect for people performing for her on the day,” he told Metro. “And we’re not the only ones that say it. She’s had run-ins with so many people.”

The band’s beef with Xtina supposedly began when they appeared recently on The Voice. “She’s a bitch,” Parker said during an interview with New York radio station 92.3 NOW FM. “She might not be a bitch in real life, but to us she was a bitch. She just sat there and wouldn’t speak to us, wouldn’t even look at us.”

After those initial comments, there was a brief moment where it appeared as if the British quintet were also going after Britney Spears in a separate interview. But that’s not the case, they claim to Metro.

“We did an interview about when we were supporting Britney and Siva mentioned when the security made him turn away,” McGuiness said. “Then everyone said ‘The Wanted are slagging off everyone.’ We’re not! On a first impression basis as a person I would say I dislike Christina Aguilera. When we met Britney she was so friendly. Very innocent. The dude that told Siva to turn around was some pushy security.”

Man, these guys just won’t let it go. And while we admit their jabs were entertaining at first, it’s starting to get a little juvenile at this point.

Do you think The Wanted are justified in their public bashing of Christina, or should they just zip their lips from now on about the subject? Let us know below, or by hitting us up on Twitter and Facebook!

well they are only answering questions that interviewers are asking? wow this article is biased.

  • sextina

Its never ok for a “man” to call a woman a bitch point blank period!

  • Kendra

Let the lads say what hey want. Its their opinion, they have their right to speak freely even if it isn’t very kind.

  • XtiNa JaMaica

So what am I not supposed to have an opinion
Should I be quiet just because I’m a woman
Call me a bitch cos I speak what’s on my mind
Guess it’s easier for you to swallow if I sat and smiled

    When a female fires back
Suddenly big talker don’t know how to act
So he does what any little boy would do
Making up a few false rumors or two

That for sure is not a man to me
    Slanderin’ names for popularity

Very poor word choice, but they have the right to answer questions as to how they feel about people they’ve come into contact with. In response to Xtina Jamaica, they didn’t call her a “bitch” because she spoke her mind. They called her a “bitch” because she was rude. They shouldn’t have used the word “bitch” and nobody actually knows whether they’re blowing things out of proportion or not (we weren’t there). But Christina hasn’t exactly shown a whole lot of class this season on The Voice (and on camera is when she would be on her best behavior). A lot of passive aggressiveness from her that I didn’t see from the other judges.

god damm!!! those guys just LOVE make problem’s with MY Christina !!! what’s their F** problem ! they like Slam on some other great pop singer for a hobby ??? those guys just Don’t understand the fashion of the music world. and now i start F** hate them !
Call a women bitch without know anything of the person , that’s call stupid and no brains and kiss my AS**!!!
maybe Wanted understand how to produce music but their definitely don’t understand what they’re doing, right now. they’re trying to get dirty their band image.

  • Britt Pertsas

I think what Christina did to them was rude and it’s not the first time I’ve heard her done things like that to other people, but it wasn’t really necessary for Tom to call her a bitch.

  • Xadax

So a woman should greet a man or call their attention just so that she couldn’t be called a BITCH?! Whatever you idiots.Clearly, we know who had more manners. AT least she kept it all shut coz she know that they’re a “waste of breath” (as she says it).

  • db

Who said she even HAD to speak to them? So she didn’t go out of her way to talk to you? Big Woop!!! Grow up!!

  • alex

Who said she HAD to speak to them? anyway, good job “the Wanted” this is a good way to garner attention….cause you just wont let it go. dont you have other things on your plate than to be babies about someone not speaking to you?

  • Melissa Pauls

lol forever at how bitter they are that Xtina didn’t kiss their a*ss. They act like she insulted their manhood or something. Sure she wasn’t overly friendly, but it’s not like she actually said anything to them or about them.

What a bunch of babies hah.

  • Switzerland94

Calling her a B#$&* on radio wasn’t right but at the same time she was rude. . . As usual.

I love Christina as a singer but she does act like she’s better then some of the people she meets (she’s lost all my respect after these inccidents and after seeing her in the voice.)

So I’m not mad at the wanted for being real an calling her out for her behavior, level of class, and respect for others (but again no man should call any woman that, I don’t care what the girl did or said. So the wanted did lose a few cool points for that)

The only reason she didn’t react to the wanted comments Is cuase she knows what they said is true. She knows she acts like diva.

Wow, I am so sick of hearing all the backlash towards Christina. I love how noone mentions that Tom and Max said she was overweight and that Britney was a drug addict, for the record none of The Voice coaches were too fond of any of them except Nathan because he was polite and to himself. The day they went they acted like they were the sh*t and kept overdoing their power. Christina was insulted and decided the best thing to do was ignore them. I have lost all respect for them.
