‘American Idol’ Superlatives: We Crown Season 11’s Most Likely To Succeed
It’s that time of year again, when eager, doe-eyed adolescents get excited for the last day of school. A whole summer awaits them, a wondrous stretch offering freedom and numerous chances to see their peers in bathing suits. In the coming weeks, they’ll be signing each other’s yearbooks, hormones aflutter as they wonder “Will Johnny kiss me at the malt shop?” Or something. We don’t really remember how it works; for us, summer just means a gaping American Idol void filled with a sweatier-than-usual work commute. So before we’re hit with that reality, we wanted to reflect back on our semester with Idol. We came up with this batch of Season 11 superlatives while drawing big hearts around the Top 12’s yearbook photos.
