Do today’s emerging artists face pressure to take on too much, too soon? (We’re sure Lana Del Rey has some thoughts on the subject). It’s a tricky question for fans and for the music industry at large, and we were fortunate to be able to participate in a recent eMusic panel discussion wrestling with that and other critical issues. Along with Stereogum‘s Amrit Singh, PureVolume‘s Maud Deitch, Brooklyn Vegan‘s Bill Pearis, our own Nicole Sia joined with eMusic whiz kid J.
