How do you make it in America? Well, starring in a hit Nickelodeon show can’t hurt! The Victorious cast unleashes another infectious single with “Make It In America,” a country-tinged ditty about Hollywood dreams and showing skin. The video features Victoria Justice driving in a sun-drenched desert, grabbing some ice cream, and picking up her friends along the way (unfortunately triggering “Friday” flashbacks, which has ruined the “small group of young people driving around aimlessly” trope forever). It’s pretty light on story — Victoria gets a text asking if she’ll play at a party that night, she says yes, and then she does. Not a bad life.
