Adam Levine Tells ‘Details’ He’ll Be Performing At Coachella — In 15 Years

The shirtless wonder, Adam Levine, takes it off once again for the June/July issue of Details magazine — but not in the way you’d expect. The Maroon 5 frontman, and America’s last “Payphone” user, whips out his clippers and shaves his head for his photo spread. (And here we thought he gave himself a buzz cut because of his breakup from Victoria’s Secret model Anne V.) Most surprisingly is The Voice coach’s goals for M5, specifically when it comes to Coachella:

We’re counting on the cultural-feedback loop to pull a Journey on us. Journey wasn’t cool. Now I can’t go out one night without somebody screaming the words to that f*cking song. That’s what we’re banking on. We’ll play Coachella in 15 years.”

Funny, wasn’t it just last month that the Overexposed crooner dissed the music festival on Twitter?

Levine said, “Only thing better than going to coachella? NOT going to coachella!!!” and “It’s as if coachella means ‘place I need to go to find out what I’m supposed to be into’. Maybe I’m just bitter cause ive never been invited.” Guess he’s changed his tune.

“There’s two kinds of men,” Adam explains to Details, “There are men who are f**king misogynist pigs, and then there are men who just really love women, who think they’re the most amazing people in the world. And that’s me. Maybe the reason I was promiscuous, and wanted to sleep with a lot of them, is that I love them so much.” Good theory!

Below, enjoy “I love being boring. It’s f*cking beautiful,” and other stellar Adam-isms in his behind-the-scenes clip.
