Justin Bieber can’t catch a break this week. After getting into a fight with a paparazzi and facing criminal charges on Monday and causing a riot in Norway that led to 49 of his fans being injured on Wednesday, the pop star has  suffered a concussion during a show in Paris this afternoon (May 31).

TMZ personally spoke to Bieber to discuss the incident, which occured while he was performing on top of the tallest building in Paris. “There’s a glass wall behind me, but there’s a railing behind the glass, and so, I went to reach for the railing and I hit my head on the glass,” recounts Bieber.

“I hit my head on the glass… It really hurt, and I felt a little lightheaded but my adrenaline was pushing me through it and I performed the last song,” the 18-year-old singer explained. “And after that, I went offstage and I immediately felt really weak and I was walking down the stairs and I passed out for like fifteen seconds, I was unresponsive, not talking… I opened my eyes and I saw the doctor, he told me I had a concussion but to just relax and have someone near me.”

“I feel good,” he continues. “I have a little bit of a headache, but I feel fine. You gotta laugh at yourself sometimes. Me and glass windows don’t work,” he adds with a laugh, referencing his painful history with see-through surfaces.

When TMZ’s Harvey Levin asked about the hysteria in Norway, Justin couldn’t believe it himself. “That was crazy!” he said. “Everybody was in the streets, no one went to school… it was nuts.”

Let’s hope the rest of Justin’s European tour goes much more smoothly. We know at least one thing for sure: Bieber’s upcoming NBC special will sure have a lot of interesting moments.
