Lana Del Rey may be polarizing (after all, even we named Born To Die one of the best albums of 2012 despite our disappointment with it). But you know who’s not polarizing? The Muppets. Everyone loves the Muppets. And now we know who they love: Miss Piggy, in an interview with The Telegraph, endorsed Lana whole hog. Kermit The Frog, for his part, has hopped aboard the EDM bandwagon, saying he’d like to work with Skrillex (“even though I’ve never heard his music.”) More on the Muppets’ music taste below.

Since The Muppets are back on top (what with their movie and the Oscar win for “Man Or Muppet”), it’s hardly a surprise that inquiring media outlets would quiz them on current pop culture. But who knew they were such avid pop fans?

Piggy, unsurprisingly, is all about the blond divas: “I love Lana Del Rey. And, despite our little run in, I love Carrie Underwood, too. Right now, my current fave is, of course, Adele! Beauty, talent, a natural singer – she reminds me of Moi!”

Kermit, asked for his own favorites these days, said: “I’ve always been a fan of OK Go (we did a music video with them) and Weezer (we did a music video with them, too) and Queen (we didn’t do a music video with them, but we did our own version of their classic “Bohemian Rhapsody”). And, of course, I like Green Day and Toad the Wet Sprocket, for purely amphibian reasons.”

And if that Skrillex collabo every materializes, it sounds like Piggy will be right by Kermit’s side, as usual.

“Moi simply can’t sit still when Moi hears dubstep,” she told the U.K. newspaper. “The bass is so powerful and the whole effect is so mesmerising and overwhelming! If I were a kind of music, I’d be dubstep.”
